Privacy policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy explains what personal information IRIS Foundation collects through irisnetwork.io, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

IRIS Foundation ("Iris", "we", "us") is a foundation company incorporated with limited liability in the Cayman Islands (registered no. 436912). Registered office: c/o Highvern Cayman Limited, 2nd Floor, Elgin Court, Elgin Avenue, PO Box 448, George Town, Grand Cayman KY1-1106, Cayman Islands.

Iris is responsible for the personal information described here. For questions or requests, email hello@irisnetwork.io.

What we collect and why

When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, work email, company and a message. We use them to reply and to follow up on what you asked about. We collect them because you chose to send them to us.

When you open a gated page. Some pages, such as our page for telecom operators, ask for your email before they open. If you leave the consent box unticked, we do not record your email or how you use the page, and no analytics load. If you tick the box, we record your email and what you read on that page (which sections you viewed, whether you downloaded the PDF, and when) so our team can follow up. We rely on your consent for this, and you can withdraw it at any time.

When you browse the site. Like any website, our hosting and security providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this to build a profile of you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and similar technology

  • To remember that you already passed a page's email gate, your browser keeps a small flag for the length of your visit. It holds no personal information and is needed for the page to work.
  • If you consent on a gated page, our analytics provider stores an identifier in your browser so that your visits to that page can be linked to your email.
  • Without your consent, we set nothing beyond what the page needs to work.

Who we share it with

Only with providers that help us run the site, under their own security and privacy terms:

  • PostHog, for product analytics in the United States, and only if you consent on a gated page.
  • Cloudflare, for content delivery and security.
  • Hostinger, for website hosting.
  • Our email provider, which receives contact form messages.
  • Ghost, which hosts our blog, Signal. If you subscribe to Signal, Ghost processes your email to deliver it.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Where your information goes

Our providers may process your information outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form messages: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted.
  • Gated page analytics: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Technical logs: kept by our providers for short periods for security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • show you the personal information we hold about you,
  • correct it,
  • delete it,
  • stop or limit how we use it, or
  • give you a copy of it.

You can withdraw your consent on a gated page at any time by emailing hello@irisnetwork.io. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.

We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the Cayman Islands Ombudsman, or the authority where you live.

Children

The site is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
